Garden Architect

Raised in Yorkshire Michaela started her horticultural career as a florist, eventually acheiving a Diploma in Garden Design and setting up her own landscape practice

Michaela has had more than 30 years of experience designing and building gardens in the UK, Spain, France, USA and Australia

In 1994 Michaela founded the International Garden Architects Academy in Sydney, Australia

After installing gardens for Sydney's elite Michaela launched her 'By Design' column for The Australian Gardener magazine and 'The Garden' pages for the Sunday Telegraph. She was then invited to present the design clinic with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation garden show.

After gathering multitudes of awards and accreditations for her work, tiring of  gardening with snakes and spiders, eventually homesick Michaela returned to the UK in 2009 and resurrected her passion for English gardens.

Currently London based Michaela specialises in designing gardens that include, fruit, vegetables, herbs and fragrant flowers for cutting.
