The first crop we picked this summer were Marilyn and Pink Fir, I think we should have left the Pink Fir in the ground so much longer but because of all the rain the leaves started to get blight. The only thing to do was to dig up before the blight got to the tuber.

Pink Fir

Very nutty and delicious steamed and sliced ...tasted chesnutty.  Yum scrum. Not good raosted - they have a dryish flesh. They are the long gnarly looking ones to the right side of the colander.

We could not get enough of these beautiful creamy and clean skin potatoes. Absolutley delciious! Slice, steam, with butter and salt......mmmmmm. Will most defiinitely grow again next year!
